If you're on the server this is harder because IE on a server is locked down and won't run javascript. So, use a workstation if possible.
If you have to do it from a server:
- Launch IE as an administrator
- Add the site to the 'Trusted Sites' collection in Internet Options in IE.
If you get a blank screen when logging onto SSRS, log onto the box as the local administrator. Not 'as a' local administrator. Log on with the actual local administrator account. You can either trust me on this or... spend hours figuring out that you need to. <smiles>
There are two places to set security in SSRS. The first is to add the user to site security. In the top right, click Site Settings and then New Role Assignment, add the user as appropriate

Next, go to the home page and click on 'Folder Settings', Then 'Security', add the users there as appropriate. The Site Settings is for the site overall, EACH FOLDER has it's own permissions and you would set the folder permissions as you deem fit to allow users access to the folders that you specify.
