My favorite Visual Studio Option Settings

The way I develop is more unique than not, I'm a consultant that dials into a new customer every week, and it's convenient to have Visual Studio the way that I want it.

Here is a list of the things that I frequently change to make it more like home

Show the code in the scroll bar: Text Editor > All Languages > Scroll Bars > Use map mode for vertical scroll bar

Tools > Options > Environment > General. Change the "items shown in recently used list" to 24 (the maximum) (I have one job that has more than the default 10 projects, and the VM dev boxes have more than 10 also. I don't change this all the time, but I'm putting it here so that I can find it when I reload a VM)
