Service Based Architecture - Installing

This article will be the overview for the process of installing Service Based Architecture for Dynamics GP. There are several steps, we'll break them up to make it easier to understand. For an overview of all the steps, look here

Installing The first SBA service is actually quite easy. It's on the CD. Run the main install, and be sure to select both SBA and Web Client Runtime.

Choosing to add SBA to the install will add this window to the install. Add the domain account that will run the SBA Service

After the install completes, you'll see the GP Dexterity Service running in the Services applet

After installing Dynamics, run Utilities and select Manage Web Client SQL Server login. This is a short utility that just sets the username/password used by the Web Client. This needs to be a dedicated SQL Server login with rights to the company and system databases, and in the DYNGRP role
