SmartConnect Login failed for user 'xxx'

Today I opened SmartConnect, and I get the message

Could not log into the SQL Server

Login failed for user 'xxx'. Reason: The password of the account has expired.

Doh.

Creating the service account for SmartConnect was an oversight... but it happened. So I went to fix it, and didn't have a record of what I had created. And, I couldn't find anyplace to reset it.

Grrr.

The connection info is stored in the C:\Program Files (x86)\eOne Solutions\SmartConnect\eOne.SmartConnect.Setup.config file, but it is encrypted.

Run

C:\Program Files (x86)\eOne Solutions\SmartConnect\eOne.SmartConnect.Config.exe and you can reset it.
