There are a ton of views in Dynamics GP that are really useful. In particular these, because they have a DRILLBACK column. What's that? Glad you asked. <smiles>
The DRILLBACK column is a link that will open the appropriate form in Dynamics and let you view the data. Really. You only need to have Dynamics already open. Try it!

That being said... let's get to work. How to do this:
Open Excel

You'll need a valid DSN on your machine that points to GP. Behind the Options button you can specify the database

Choose one of the views from the list above. In my example I used Items

Move all the columns to the right window

Note: There were two columns that had a period in the name (Grrr), I had to remove those to get this to work.

Filtering

Sorting

All done.

Don't put it in A1, leave some room

Booya.
Click the DATA > REFRESH button get fresh data.
